One more rookie

Hey all,

My name is Sean, im 21, from West Kel, and finally a bike owner! Only wanted one since i was 16, but thankfully it happened now when im a little wiser and the bank account looks a little nicer. I will admit i went against conventional logic and hopped right on a sportbike, but with the warm-up on KDSC's 125 and 250's in the learn to ride course, and a healthy bit of respect for the right hand, so far life is good.

Now for the more important part. The bike is a '97 GSX-R750, red/black, had 46k on it when i got it, rolled 47 yesterday (not bad for 2 weeks riding just for fun and not doing any distance trips), seems well maintained. Since everyone likes pictures more than words, here we are:

Welcome to the site! I've seen you around here and there I do believe. As for the pics... try to work on #15... do one of those on tighter stuff and it could get ugly(front tire over the line). Hope to get out with you one of these days!

welcome man! Did you ride with Keith at riding school by any chance? He mentioned that one picked up an older gsxr one day (work with him). Have fun, lets get a ride goin

Yep, that'd be me. He find a bike yet? I made sure to get his number off him for when he does. I was hoping i wouldnt get ridden too hard for going over the yellow. Don't know what went wrong to take me wide like that, but i wasnt happy with any bit of it. Didn't happen twice though i know that much

Nope he hasnt yet. He drools over magazines and my bike every day though haha. We will all go for a rip one of these days!
