What up is that your instructor dont' know nothing. What he probably ment was to call you a "SQUID" a term reserved for unskilled, unprepared riders with little or no talent(ie Most cruiser riders).

he is probably been bitten by a case of the motorcycle equivilent of penis envy
rides a cruiser and thinks because you are on a sport bike all you can do is go so fast you are out of control when what is happening is that you are going a good pace on your sport bike which would be extremly way too fast on his cruiser to he thinks you are riding over your head.
got a co-worker like that sold his ZX10 and bought a harley cause he scared himself. probably a good thing now "crotch rockets and all people who ride them are dangerouly unsafe (just won't admit he is a bad rider)

If I rode an 800 pound 2000cc bike with 38 hp I`d be pissed at the world too.

I'm guessing you're taking a motorcycle course???? Maybe where he comes from it has a different meaning, but here it's not something that is even close to a compliment. Usually the words "stupid fucking" are the words that precede the word squid. Might wanna ask him what he means.
